GeniusBrain, founded by Dr. Thomas S.Y. Hooi since 1999, is a Malaysian-based company specialising in students’ Accelerated Learning System (ALS) and children’s enrichment programmes. It is a member of MATRADE, part of Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
In 2010, GeniusBrain received the Asia Pacific Excellent Brand Award, and Dr. Hooi was later appointed as an advisor to Global Business Magazine’s award committee. In 2012, Dr. Y.B. Ng joined as an advisor, followed by Dr. Frances Tsakonas in 2016 to support GeniusBrain’s global market expansion. Proven Brain Development Course for Young Children
Creativity & Thinking Skills designed for Pre-Schooler, to enable them to have fun & learn “how to think” using GeniusBrain’s proven “Thinking Keys”. Land & Jarman developed a creativity test for NASA that could be applied to any age. When administered to 1,600 children aged 4-5, 98% scored at the genius level. Five years later, only 30% of the same group scored at that level, and by high school, this dropped to 12%. Testing adults with an average age of 31 showed that less than 2% scored at the genius level. This decline suggests that creativity diminishes with age. However, creativity can be maintained and nurtured, especially in children, by providing the proper brain stimulation to help them approach problems creatively.
