Public Speaking & Personal Development

This program is designed to empower teenagers with both essential and more advanced aspects of public speaking. Core aspects include skills like body language, gestures, and eye contact. Advanced components included building rapport, reading an audience, and audience participation techniques. Under the umbrella of personal development, students are taught skills like goal setting, resourcefulness and critical thinking to help augment their personal growth as they play a key role in being a good speaker. Through engaging activities, real-world speaking experiences, and self-reflection exercises, students will learn not just to speak but to share meaningfully and speak with impact.

Through direct learning, activities and games, your child learns the core aspects of public speaking like speaking with expression, intonation, body language, facial expressions, and storytelling to provide a solid foundation in which further public speaking skills can be built.

Debating is a powerful skill that develops a host of skills. Participants will learn to articulate their thoughts, argue their points effectively, and analyze opposing viewpoints. Debate is also a natural way to build confidence and the ability to think on one’s feet. Your child will never be stumped by questions once this skill is sufficiently developed.
